Rolfing® Structural Integration
Rolfing® Structural Integration, named after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, is a form of bodywork that works on the connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort and reduce discomfort compensations, and alleviating pain. Rolfing SI aims to restore flexibility, vitalize your energy, and leave you feeling more comfortable, harmonious, and peaceful with yourself and your surroundings.

Rolf Oberholzer
Certified Rolfer™
Guiding my clients individually through their processes and helping them achieve well-being and balance is my overriding aim.
About me
I was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1976. In 2020, I moved to Japan for family reasons and continued my work as a Rolfer™. Through my client experiences and further training, I constantly expand and refine my understanding of body structure and function. I had the chance to explore the field of scars and learned how to integrate them into the fascial web. I also delved into a new method, Craniosacral Therapy, which has beautifully influenced my hands-on work.
I worked at a well-known company for over ten years. During that time, I became interested in nurturing a better connection with my body through yoga and meditation. This interest also stemmed from my struggle with lower back and neck pain. As time passed, I began to realize that my job did not align with the path I wanted to take. In 2010, I took a brave step and started a new journey by training as a massage therapist and pursuing courses in manual and movement therapies.
Another significant moment was undergoing the ten basic Rolfing sessions, which proved life-changing. Rolfing helped me with my back and neck problems and deepened my understanding of my body and movement patterns, ultimately leading me to become a certified Rolfer™.
I have found working as a Rolfer™ to be incredibly rewarding. I am deeply grateful to have met numerous clients who have expressed their appreciation for Rolfing and my work.
If you are interested in exploring Rolfing, I invite you to schedule an initial session. Following this session, you can trust your intuition to decide whether you wish to continue with the process. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet you.
Warm regards,
Rolf Oberholzer, Certified Rolfer™
