Rolfing® Structural Integration
Rolfing® Structural Integration, named after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, is a form of bodywork that works on the connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort and reduce discomfort compensations, and alleviating pain. Rolfing SI aims to restore flexibility, vitalize your energy, and leave you feeling more comfortable, harmonious, and peaceful with yourself and your surroundings.

Rolf Oberholzer
Certified Rolfer™
My goal is to support and guide you through your individual process, helping you rediscover your physical balance and well-being.
My Journey into Bodywork
I was born in 1976 and grew up near Zurich. In 2020, my journey led me to Japan. My career as a therapist began years earlier: After a decade in the corporate world, I decided on a fresh start in 2010 and trained in Switzerland as a Swiss Federal Diploma Medical Massage Therapist.
Even back in the corporate world, I was increasingly drawn to yoga and meditation to balance a stressful lifestyle. This path eventually led me to my medical training. Yet, even as I began working as a therapist and deepening my knowledge of manual therapies, I continued to struggle with recurring back and neck pain. My search for lasting relief eventually led me to the 10-series of Rolfing®.
This experience was a major turning point: for the first time, I experienced true freedom of movement. I learned how to move my body more effortlessly and dynamically in everyday life, at work, and during my hobbies – with ease rather than strain. This new quality of life and deep sense of body awareness convinced me to become a Certified Rolfer myself.
My Approach Today, I integrate this medical foundation with specialized methods such as ScarWork and Craniosacral elements to support the body as a whole.
My Focus: Structure, Movement & Flow
Whether you seek relief from everyday discomfort, want to increase your efficiency as an athlete, find more ease in your musical expression, or regain your natural movement after an injury – I support you in bringing awareness to old patterns and optimizing your individual structure and breathing.
My goal is to support and guide you through your individual process, helping you rediscover your physical balance and well-being, and to experience your natural sense of flow anew. I am grateful for my clients in Japan and look forward to meeting you. Trust your intuition: let’s start with an initial session and decide together how to proceed.
Warm regards,
Rolf Oberholzer, Certified Rolfer™
