Rolfing® Structural Integration
Rolfing® Structural Integration, named after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, is a form of bodywork that works on the connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort and reduce discomfort compensations, and alleviating pain. Rolfing SI aims to restore flexibility, vitalize your energy, and leave you feeling more comfortable, harmonious, and peaceful with yourself and your surroundings.

Rolf Oberholzer
Certified Rolfer™|Massage Therapist|Pilates Trainer
Guiding my clients individually through their processes and helping them achieve well-being and balance is my overriding aim.
About me
I was born in 1976 in Zurich, Switzerland. I worked as a successful Rolfer™ and Massage Therapist in Zurich and Zug before moving to Japan in 2020 primarily due to family reasons.
I was initially enjoying my career as an employee at a renowned company before health-related themes have become an ever-increasing focus for me, and I became more interested in practicing meditation, yoga, and qigong.
In 2010 I took the bold step of a new professional direction, choosing to begin full-time training as a massage therapist and studying further courses in manual and training therapies. When I experienced Rolfing on myself, I knew Rolfing® Structural Integration is the ingenious method for supporting my clients in the future. After several years of valuable professional experience as a masseur in an interdisciplinary team, I have fulfilled my heart's desire and went through an additional intensive period of study to become a certified Rolfer™. Working as a Rolfer™ is something I find very fulfilling for the senses. Throughout, I was fortunate to meet many clients who had appreciated my work and had given me confidence. It was a big surprise to them when I explained that I would be moving to Japan in 2020. Though this is also an excellent chance for me, I believe it's another progress and challenges in my life to be fulfilled.
If you are interested in experiencing Rolfing, then I would invite you to an initial session, after which you can decide, based on your gut instinct, whether or not you wish to continue with the process. I look forward to meeting you.
Yours,
Rolf Oberholzer, Certified Rolfer™
