Rolfing® Structural Integration
Rolfing® Structural Integration, named after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, is a form of bodywork that works on the connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort and reduce discomfort compensations, and alleviating pain. Rolfing SI aims to restore flexibility, vitalize your energy, and leave you feeling more comfortable, harmonious, and peaceful with yourself and your surroundings.More about Rolfing® SI
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, holistic way of working with the body using a light touch. It supports your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself and helps reduce stress and build underlying energy. It is suitable for everyone, from young to old.More about CST
As a therapist from Switzerland, I have been learning a lot from my Japanese clients. Also, I quickly realized that I could not approach the sessions the way I did in my country due to our cultural differences, so I found myself exploring a different approach. From this situation, I created a new session called SwissFascialTherapy. It is a hands-on treatment focusing on the myofascial system while the clients remain clothed throughout the session, like in Shiatsu Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, or Craniosacral therapy. It is holistic and integrative to support and restore the body's health, well-being, and vitality.

Certified Rolfer™|Massage Therapist|Pilates Trainer
Guiding my clients individually through their processes and helping them achieve well-being and balance is my overriding aim.
I was born in 1976 in Zurich, Switzerland. I worked as a successful Rolfer™ and Massage Therapist in Zurich and Zug before moving to Japan in 2020 primarily due to family reasons.
I was initially enjoying my career as an employee at a renowned company before health-related themes have become an ever-increasing focus for me, and I became more interested in practicing meditation, yoga, and qigong.
In 2010 I took the bold step of a new professional direction, choosing to begin full-time training as a massage therapist and studying further courses in manual and training therapies. When I experienced Rolfing on myself, I knew Rolfing® Structural Integration is the ingenious method for supporting my clients in the future. After several years of valuable professional experience as a masseur in an interdisciplinary team, I have fulfilled my heart's desire and went through an additional intensive period of study to become a certified Rolfer™. Working as a Rolfer™ is something I find very fulfilling for the senses. Throughout, I was fortunate to meet many clients who had appreciated my work and had given me confidence. It was a big surprise to them when I explained that I would be moving to Japan in 2020. Though this is also an excellent chance for me, I believe it's another progress and challenges in my life to be fulfilled.
If you are interested in experiencing Rolfing, then I would invite you to an initial session, after which you can decide, based on your gut instinct, whether or not you wish to continue with the process. I look forward to meeting you.

« Personally, Rolfing felt like deliberate learning on my body. With simple, experimental exercises and clear instructions from Rolf, I was able to identify some critical points where I should look at and become more careful. »
« Rolf and Rolfing were a real revelation and very welcome treatment. I had posture problems forever and tried everything but all to no avail. By the time I found Rolf, everything had changed in just one session. I started to stand and sit straighter and felt more comfortable in my body. After finishing the whole program, I decided to keep it ongoing. Now that Rolf left for Japan, I miss his Rolfing sessions. »
« One year ago, I did the ten basic Rolfing sessions. The treatment gave me moments when I experienced my body anew, an inner connection from head to toe. Today I stand on my feet more easily, I breathe more effortlessly, feel more energy, and Rolfing also helped my hip problems. »
« As a lifetime athlete, my body is my best friend but also my worst enemy. Taking good care of yourself is the key to success. Rolfing, I found, is one of the best approaches to balance your body fatigue. After a Rolfing session, your body goes into a state of perfect balance. You feel light on your feet, and you stand straight easily; breathing in and out feels more natural; all the pain is gone. All this results in a much quicker and better recovery and allows you to push further and harder in your workout sessions. »
« I feel more vital since the treatment and notice how my lousy posture has improved. A clear proof of this is the free neck and back; the pain when bending over is gone. I can only recommend Rolfing Therapy, especially Rolf as a very professional therapist. »
« I used to get terrible migraines quite often after childbirth. Through the 10 sessions with Rolf, the pain gradually becomes less frequent and less severe. However, the bigger gain for me is now to know my own body better, what to be careful in daily life, and what to do whenever the pain becomes unavoidable. Therefore I no longer need to worry when I will come down with pain. »
